People have said it’s unhealthy to get upset about “something you can’t control” when I would talk about the rampant pedo rings. (I’m a ‘successful’, stable person for goodness sakes, and still such a small voice). Or suggest I not “look at that stuff,” if it’s upsettting… which, yeah, I can’t constantly research it because it’s so disturbing… but if everyone only did a cursory investigation into this horror, yeah they’d “get upset,” but we would actually have power as a people to do something about it.

Sucks so hard.
