Oklahoma man found guilty of child sex trafficking
In April of 2018, police began looking for 35-year-old Elizabeth Andrade and 45-year-old Germaine Coulter, Sr. after learning they were recruiting Edmond Santa Fe students to work for them in their prostitution ring.
According to court documents, police learned of their plan after arresting Andrade in a prostitution sting. When she was arrested, they discovered alarming photos of young girls on her cell phone. Some of those photos included two teenage Santa Fe students.
On June 20, 2018, the grand jury returned a three-count indictment against Coulter and Andrade.
According to the indictment, Coulter and Andrade recruited a minor to perform commercial sex work for Coulter.
“Coulter allegedly told her she needed to make $1,000 per day, all of which would go to him, and he would buy her a car, get her an apartment, and get her business cards after she turned 18, if she was successful,” a release from Acting United States Attorney Robert J. Troester said.
The release says that Andrade took the teenager with her on commercial sex appointments, where the girl performed sex acts for money.
In April, Andrade pleaded guilty in federal court to sex trafficking a minor child.
On Monday, Coulter was found guilty on two counts, child sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit child sex trafficking. A mistrial was declared on count three – child sex trafficking.
According to court documents, Coulter is in custody of U.S. Marshals and awaiting sentencing.

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – San Diego Police arrested a woman last week for reportedly sex trafficking two young girls.
According to police, the woman, identified as Desiree Morton, called officers on July 17 to report that she was a victim of domestic violence and that her boyfriend stole her vehicle.
When officers responded to the unspecified location, they found Morton, along with two other girls police say appeared to be younger than 18 and had no identification cards.
Police say the girls also had tattoos along their jaws.
The two girls later told investigators they were 14 and 15-years-old.
Officers arrested Morton after she reportedly admitted to prostituting the girls. The girls were taken into protective custody.

Chaska man sentenced in 2018 sex trafficking sting after Shakopee arrest
A Chaska man was sentenced to 45 days in county jail and three years probation for engaging in electronic communication relating to sexual contact with a child.
Jonathan Eric Moe, 41, was arrested in Shakopee last winter in a Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension sting where undercover agents posed as teenagers to locate individuals who electronically solicited sexual contact with minors.
According to the criminal complaint, in January 2018, a bureau detective created a profile of a 15- to 17-year-old girl on Whisper, a social media app that uses geographic locations and allows secret, anonymous messages.
Shortly after the posting, the detective received a response from an anonymous male with a profile of 36 to 44 years old. The detective told Moe his tablet was crashing and asked the suspect to text him.
The detective then received a text message from Moe saying, “hey there its the guy from Whisper,” then asking, "How old are you?"
The detective responded with: "Hey, I turn 15 in July I'm looking forward to getting my permit !!! I want to get out of here."
Moe continued the conversation, saying he was 32 years old and asking the detective if she was a virgin and had tried sex. He also made statements about meeting up and stated that he could only do it if he was “200% sure he would not get caught,” the complaint says.
During the conversation that occurred over two days, Moe made many more sexual comments.
On Jan. 31, 2018, Moe drove his Toyota 4-Runner at about 6:13 p.m. to where he believed he would meet the girl. The complaint says he was seen live via surveillance driving up and down the street before he pulled into the driveway of the house. At that time, the complaint says, police arrested him.
