Spook MAYBE, but frankly, I am shocked at what i did find in just a few minutes of digging. When I moved into my new home, the guy across the street had an adjoining vacant lot for sale, but when I checked the county tax record to assess the value, THE PARCEL DIDN'T EXIST! When I finally met him, I knew why. He was a detective for the local Sheriff's dept.

So, its natural to suspect some scrubbing of a federal law enforcement official, but you cant say that the guy doesn't exist!
