Storm damages iconic Lone Cypress tree at Pebble Beach

This week's powerful storm that brought down trees across the Monterey Peninsula has claimed another victim.

You can see in this before and after picture that a large section is now missing.

The Lone Cypress stands along 17 Mile Drive. It's believed to be 250 years old.
