It may be the pipe where it comes out of the floor and up through the sheet rock to the shower, if it's in an outside wall. We've had that happen with the kitchen tap.
If it froze up, and it's pvc, it's probably busted, anon. Hopefully not. We drip our faucets in outside walls but also put a lamp on them all night. Just a regular ol' lamp. One behind the washing machine and one under the kitchen sink.
