Well, I think he was instructed to push this along to get it on the docket and he no doubt, aided Raylan in getting it all together. Especially after Rule 11 wasn't needed.

Anon, each SC justice oversees a district and court of appeals. I suspect one of the conservative justices had an eye on this case all the while the 10th district was dik'n Raylan around and slow walking it until he submitted the complaint via Rule 11. "National Security". Which this certainly it is. 10th district CoA's saw what Raylan did to swipe them out of the picture and they ruled against him. So I suspect Sessions was instructed but just the same, was monumental in helping Brunson get on the docket for sure.

This is not a case to be "heard" but to be ruled on anon. Defendants attorney, the Solicitor General, waived all rights regarding defednats in a one page, one paragraph repsonse to the SCOTUS. This conference is whether or not they are going to rule.

It is very interesting as the response from the SG blew my mind. Unprecedented. Had the SG responded in defense of the defendants then there would be oral arguments in front of the SCOTUS. As it stands now, a ruling is all that is needed. They rule correctly, lawfully, Constitutionally and they save their own asses. They rule unlawfully, unConstitutionally and they'll join those other treasonous fucks on those barges at Gitmo.

Anon, after the all the US Attorneys were dismissed, the Solicitor General took over and was ordered to resppond to the Brunson (at this point) appeal, on or before November 23rd. On the 23rd the SG filed a response waiving ALL RIGHTS for ALL DEFENDANTS. No oral arguments as there is no case to hear. Only a ruling.
