If I understand it correctly, it was the catch and release policy. They would release minors and families and give them a court date they never showed up for instead of holding them
That has encouraged people to send their kids. I dont think they gave them to traffickers…I guess maybe they trusted the person or someone just picked them up along the way

Once hardworking folks hear the actual numbers of people crossing, their attitude will change. I couldnt believe 10k kids under 18 came alone.
Once black folks hear about all this sympathy for kids when their fathers are imprisoned….they will start to think
