the newborn was left in a tent.

it wasn't just left on the ground.

pretty awful, but not as horrid.

the baby is safe now.

why do people echo this story and be appauled at the mother?

these things have been known for generations.

we ought to be a bit more kind.

Maybe when she's fed and sober she'll be the mom?

we should we pray for that

not some kind of horrid punishment for her.

my point is that the story is not as horrid as first presented.

yes, I agree she needs to be held to account.

years from now, maybe two or three, perhaps she'll be able to assume the role of adopting (her own) child fostered for a while by the state but yes, she does need to be brought to just and not just handed back this newborn.

plus: how horrible to attack me for trying to make this story a lot less grief causing.

what's your point?

the baby was found within an hour in a tent.

not on the ground.

you need to hatesomeone over this?

that's the part I'm pointing out: how a news story is used to draw out the hatereds of reactionary discouragment shilling.

to be far that poster really seems instead not to be so coupled to the news. the second item only seem to apply. the news is superfluous.

the story is but a prop in that space of fan-flaming of discord.

in that persons mind there was no tradgedy narrowly averted.

it's an opportunity for that one to try to agitate someone who sees why some stories get echoed, while others are ignored.
