it should not be legal to hold patents on life forms or DNA.
in order to patent something the very first thing
is an idea of 'ownership of an idea'
and then to con the rest of everyone that is fair and honorable.

in the case of DNA, and life forms, it is not ever fair or honorable
so the next thing needed in order to patent DNA:
a corrupt system of ownership of ideas run by corrupt entities with the force of law and the funding to back up the enforcement.
in other words: there is no reason that the public should put up with bogus patents being enforced and
anything that was funded , or paid-for by the public monies ought to be free for the public to use.
without having to pay royaltees to people who were gifted those patents by a corruptible forces of governance, obviously corrupted.
