About 3 months ago, our rural property was robbed and we had something like 20K worth of stuff stolen from us including a very large piece of farming equipment. Police said they knew who did it just collecting enough to catch the guys.

Today, spouse anon sees super poor rural neighbor driving said equipment with some classic low end modifications to cast doubt on identifying for sure.

Another neighbor says they noticed when poor neighbor all the sudden has new equipment and is already under investigation for multiple felony thefts… and that they don’t have running water or electricity.

And all I can think is how I want to leave a couple 100s of my cmas money in their mailbox tomorrow because what the fuck is wrong with this world these people with kids mind you are so desperate or lazy or whatever, this situation has come about that they are suffering enough to do this kind of dumb shit? For real. These people exist and by some disgusting fate of inbred genetics or poor upbringing or chance, I’m now faced with this ridiculous situation where I have to tell the po dunk cops these morons are flaunting the very expensive equipment they stole in front of the whole community, and whose numerous family members are already serving time for this exact crime?

Some things you just can’t make sense of.
