Andrew Tate detained in Romania on organised crime and rape charges
The controversial online influencer has been accused by prosecutors of ârecruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic contentâ
Controversial online influencer and self-described misogynist Andrew Tate has been detained in Romania on charges of human trafficking, rape and forming an organised crime group, authorities confirmed.
The former kickboxer and reality TV star, who has been banned from a number of social media platforms for misogynistic comments and hate speech, was arrested alongside his brother and two other suspects. They would be detained for 24 hours, prosecutors from the anti organised-crime unit said in a statement after raiding their properties in Bucharest.

The Tate brothers have been under criminal investigation since April. They declined to comment but their lawyer confirmed they had been detained.
A spokesperson for Tate told the Daily Mirror he could not provide any details regarding the reports. âHowever, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can.â
According to a translated statement from the investigators, six women who were allegedly sexually exploited by the organised criminal group have been identified.
âThe four suspects ⌠appear to have created an organised crime group with the purpose of recruiting, housing and exploiting women by forcing them to create pornographic content meant to be seen on specialised websites for a cost,â prosecutors said.
âThey would have gained important sums of money.â
Earlier this week, the British national was told to get a life by climate activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter after he told her he owned 33 cars with âenormous emissionsâ.

White House approves $180 million anti-tank systems sale to Taiwan
Beijing's militaristic posturing towards the island democracy has escalated in recent years, sparking fears of an imminent invasion.
The White House this week approved a prospective sale of Volcano anti-tank weapons to Taiwan amid escalating tensions between the island's government and Beijing.
The sale would include roughly $180 million worth of material to the Republic of China, according to the Epoch Times.
"This proposed sale serves U.S. national, economic, and security interests by supporting the recipient's continuing efforts to modernize its armed forces and to maintain a credible defensive capability," read a White House statement. "The proposed sale will help improve the security of the recipient and assist in maintaining political stability, military balance, and economic progress in the region."
The Republic of China governs the island of Taiwan, but formally claims to be the legitimate government of the mainland as well. The Taipei-based government previously governed most of modern China, but evacuated to the island in 1949 after losing the Chinese Civil War to Mao Zedong's communist faction.
The Beijing-based People's Republic of China claims sovereignty over Taiwan and deems the Taipei government a separatist entity. Both governments formally agree on the existence of a single, unified China that includes the territory of both regimes, though each claims to legitimately lead that entity."
Beijing's militaristic posturing towards the island democracy has escalated in recent years, sparking fears of an imminent invasion, which have received a more serious response from Washington in light of the Russian invasion of Ukraine earlier this year. At least one Navy admiral has forecast a Chinese invasion in the forthcoming year.
Chinese aircraft on Christmas Eve forced Taiwan to scramble its fighters after nearing the island's airspace. Taipei further plans to extend its conscription efforts in anticipation of a likely attack.

Bidenâs DHS Releases into U.S. Nearly 1.4K Illegal Alien Convicted Criminals in Less than Three Months
President Joe Bidenâs Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has released nearly 1,400 illegal alien convicted criminals from detention into American communities in less than three months, data shows.
The latest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) data reveals that from October through December 18, Bidenâs DHS has released 1,363 illegal alien convicts into American communities along with more than 1,800 illegal aliens with pending criminal charges against them.
Of the illegal alien convicts released from DHS custody, 463 bonded out, 421 were given an order of recognizance, 371 were given an order of supervision, and 108 were paroled.
In total, more than 35,000 illegal aliens were released from DHS custody into the United States interior from October through December 18. Most significantly, the agency seems to be increasing releases, as those freed from custody in the first 18 days of this month eclipse the total number of releases last month.
RJ Hauman, with the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), suggested that the Biden administration may be violating the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) with the mass release of illegal alien convicts from DHS custody.
Specifically, Hauman cites this INA statute:
The Attorney General may release an alien described in paragraph (1) only if the Attorney General decides pursuant to section 3521 of title 18 that release of the alien from custody is necessary to provide protection to a witness, a potential witness, a person cooperating with an investigation into major criminal activity, or an immediate family member or close associate of a witness, potential witness, or person cooperating with such an investigation, and the alien satisfies the Attorney General that the alien will not pose a danger to the safety of other persons or of property and is likely to appear for any scheduled proceeding. A decision relating to such release shall take place in accordance with a procedure that considers the severity of the offense committed by the alien. [Emphasis added]
âThe law explicitly requires that those who cross the border illegally be detained, but the Biden administration clearly doesnât want to detain or deport anyone,â Hauman told Breitbart News.
âSo it isnât surprising that they are attempting to undermine the rule of law by not only cutting overall detention capacity but illegally releasing criminal aliens as well,â he continued. âPublic safety is under attack to advance their open borders agenda.â
As Breitbart News has chronicled, the Biden administration has sought to gut interior immigration enforcement through so-called âsanctuary countryâ measures that protect most of the nationâs 11 to 22 million illegal aliens from arrest and deportation by ICE agents.
Last year, for instance, Bidenâs DHS drastically cut deportations of illegal aliens living in American communities â some by more than 90 percent compared to 2019. The agency has also reduced arrests of illegal aliens living throughout the United States by more than 70 percent.

Chinaâs Migrants Join Global Rush to Bidenâs Open Borders
Chinaâs economic migrants are joining the global rush into America as President Joe Bidenâs deputies widen legal loopholes in the southern border, according to a U.S.-funded news agency.
The route for Chinaâs migrants goes through Ecuador in South America. Then the migrants take buses, taxis, and boats to reach the deadly Darien Gap jungle trail in Panama, where the United Nations helps them travel further north towards Costa Rica, Mexico, and the United States, according to a December 26 article by Radio Free Asia.
1,028 Chinese citizens entered Colombia from Ecuador through unofficial channels between January and November 2022, 458 of whom did so in November alone.
Nearly all of them pass through NecoclĂ, the jumping-off point for the notorious DariĂŠn Gap people-smuggling route through the jungle from Panama to Colombia, in a bid to cross eventually into the United States.
According to two shipping companies that ship travelers to the trailhead in Panama, 122 Chinese people have bought tickets during the past week.
A pipeline of 122 people per week adds up to 6,300 a year â if the flow somehow stops growing.
The arrival of more Chinese reflects the growing global awareness that Biden is dangling the hope of U.S. jobs, homes, and lives to ambitious young people everywhere â whatever the huge economic and civic damage to ordinary Americans.
For example, the number of Indian migrants detained at the border rose from 20,000 in 2020 up to 64,000 in 2022. The Filipino inflow rose from 46,000 in 2019 up to 55,000 in 2022. In 2022, Bidenâs border officials admitted 114,000 people from those two countries, regardless of the Title 42 barrier or section 212(f) in federal laws that allow the president to exclude any alien.

General Motors Funds Effort to Embed Pro-Transgender Books in Classrooms
General Motors (GM) donated to an LGBT organization that supplies kindergarten and elementary classrooms with pro-transgender childrenâs books.
General Motors provided a grant to the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) to fund the organizationâs âRainbow Libraryâ Program, according to the corporationâs 2021 Social Impact Report.
The report explains that the Rainbow Library âprovides supportive curriculum materials and book sets that are LGBTQ centered, racially diverse, and multicultural to K-12 schools.â The report did not say how much money was awarded to the pro-transgender organization.
âThis innovative program also provides ongoing support and professional guidance for educators to create inclusive, supportive, and identity-safe classrooms nationwide,â GMâs report notes.
GLSEN also provides lesson plans, as well as âeducator guidesâ and professional development trainings.
Pictures from GLSENâs Rainbow Library page showcase the type of books that the organization is sending to K-12 schools to be read to young children. One book, called âI am Jazz,â is about a child who allegedly identified as transgender from the age of two.
âFrom the time she was two years old, Jazz knew that she had a girlâs brain in a boyâs body,â the bookâs description reads.
While GLSEN does not give a complete list of the book titles that are given out through their program, an article from the School Library Journal explains that books are in part âselected based on winning and nominated books for the Stonewall Award and the Rainbow Book List of the American Library Association.â
One title, which is a Stonewall Honor Book and also included on the Rainbow Book List, is the pornographic âGender Queerâ by Maia Kabobe. The book is extremely graphic and contains depictions of oral sex, masturbation, and the use of sex toys, as well as discussions of sexual fantasies and âconfusing sexual experiments.â

Former Disney Channel Star Bella Thorne Claims Hollywood Director Sexualized Her When She Was 10, Accused Her of âFlirtingâ With Him
Former Disney Channel star Bella Thorne said a Hollywood director sexualized her when she was only ten years old, saying he accused her of trying to âflirtâ with him.
Bella Thorne revealed the alleged incident, but didnât identify the director, during an interview on fellow celebrity Emily Ratajkowskiâs podcast
âI had a director give me feedback once and I was ten and they call the casting director, who calls my agent, and my agent calls my mom. And theyâre like, âSo sheâs not moving forward because the director felt like she was flirting with him and it made him really uncomfortable,ââ Thorne recalled.
What the fuck are you talking about, man? I donât give a fuck what the fuck I said. I donât care if I said âEat my pussy right now.â She is ten years old. Why ever would you think that? Why?â Thorne added.
Thorne said it would have been impossible for her to have flirted with the director.
âYouâre in a director session, you canât really like say or do much. You do the scene, you say hello, you walk out â thereâs no time to like, âLet me go sit on your lap or like, make you feel uncomfortable.ââ
Ratajkowski replied: âPutting it on a 10 year old child and making it like they made an adult man uncomfortable is insane. And then that was relayed to a casting director who was happy to relay that to your mom. Like if you need a more fucked up story about Hollywood and like pedophilia and the sexualization of children, like I donât know that there is one.â
Bella Thorne also revealed that Disney came under pressure to fire her when she was 14 years old after a photo leaked showing her wearing a bikini on the beach. (Thorne starred in the Disney Channel series Shake It Up.)
âSo not only were they sexualizing you, they were blaming you,â Ratajkowski said.
As Breitbart News reported, Bella Thorne has alleged she was âmolestedâ and âphysically abusedâ during her years as a child actress in the entertainment industry, from the age of six to 14, saying those around her âdid nothingâ about it.
In recent years, Thorne has dabbled in OnlyFans and directed a porn movie for the site Pornhub.
