ty anon

5 years: MomAnon died

3 years: DadAnon and shortly thereafter SpouseAnon died literally outta nowhere, Superbowl travel cancelled, that was supposed to be a milestone anniversary.

so tracking that 5 years of excruciating, anon doesn't speak to but a couple of people IRL and not often. Anon is somewhat used to being alone, only kid and all that but this is a whole other level.

Thank God for frens here, lifesavers they are. This meme is so accurate it's scary.

>He had 6% of his lung capacity

I am so sorry for your loss anon, it's always rough but Christmas Eve, that's horrible. Anon's Dad had major diminished lung capacity too so go with the jet fuel induced "somementia" and the helplessness of family, the utter callousness of the health "professionals"

Dad had to go to Memory Care when MomAnon died, both were in home hospice and the hospitals- 4 days before DadAnon died I saw him for his birthday and the nurse's aid or whatever she was almost RAN him down a hallway to the visitor area, it was awful.

May they rest in peace anon, all suffering is done except that gaping hole they left behind.

I'm so sorry anon and sorry your about your sibling situation, anon has none so there was no issues there. It's so hard, it's not unexpected until it's real. Then it's a complete shock to the system. I have questions I'll never get answered, dumb little things, the family jokes, it's not a great change.

>saw the big picture in 2007 which is when frens started falling away

2009, anon was slow to accept the actual reality. And then anon learned so much more that further widened the gulf of anon-normie frens. There was a big get together for Christmas this year with work frens. Anon couldn't force self out the door, no desire to see any of them tbh.

Thank God for the work here, it helps more than expected, anon gets lost in digs that may/may not be relevent but ya never know. The volume of things unknown, what a crap education they pumped out…

Hope your Dad is happy as possible considering and healthy for 2023. Be kind to yourself anon, stress is no good for you.

That was a tough year and one you'll always be glad you were there for them when they really needed you. Assuming your parents like mine would never ask for help, not that generation. They were 10' tall and bullet proof in my eyes. And their own.

>uKRAINE NAZIs, CIA Op CARTEL, renamed AERODYNAMIC

archived it: https://archive.ph/PyUsJ

“CIA operations with these Ukrainians began in 1948 under the cryptonym CARTEL, soon changed to AERODYNAMIC. … Lebed relocated to New York and acquired permanent resident status, then U.S. citizenship. It kept him safe from assassination, allowed him to speak to Ukrainian émigré groups, and permitted him to return to the United States after operational trips to Europe. Once in the United States, Lebed was the CIA’s chief contact for AERODYNAMIC. CIA handlers pointed to his ‘cunning character,’ his ‘relations with the Gestapo and … Gestapo training,’ [and] the fact that he was ‘a very ruthless operator.’”

The CIA wanted a NAZI so bad they pressured Immigration to not look at his history and didn't think the 1936 political assassination was a valid arguement, he dindu, he told them so, so good enough… CIA is TRASH.

p7:

Intelligence Organizations and War Crimes

American intelligence and counterintelligence organizations each had its own

raison d’être, its own institutional interests, and its own priorities. Unfortunately,

intelligence officials generally did not record their general policies and attitudes

toward war crimes and war criminals, so that we hunted for evidence in their

handling of individual cases. Despite variations, these specific cases do show

a pattern: the issue of capturing and punishing war criminals became less

important over time. During the last months of the war and shortly after it,

capturing enemies, collecting evidence about them, and punishing them

seemed quite consistent. Undoubtedly, the onset of the Cold War gave American

intelligence organizations new functions, new priorities, and new foes. Settling

scores with Germans or German collaborators seemed less pressing; in some

cases, it even appeared counterproductive.

In the months after the war in Europe ended Allied forces struggled to

comprehend the welter of Nazi organizations. Allied intelligence agencies initially

scrutinized their German intelligence counterparts for signs of participation

in underground organizations, resistance, or sabotage. Assessing threats to the

Allied occupation of Germany, they thought first of Nazi fanatics and German

intelligence officials. Nazi officials in the concentration camps had obviously

committed terrible crimes, but the evidence about the Gestapo was not as striking.

The Allies started by trying to find out who had been responsible for what.

Pope Benedict XVI dead at 95

Demember 31, 2022

Pope Benedict XVI, a fierce defender of church dogma who became the first pontiff in six centuries to abdicate the papacy, died Saturday morning. He was 95 years old.

“With sorrow I inform you that the Pope Emeritus, Benedict XVI, passed away today at 9:34 AM in the Mater Ecclesiae Monastery in the Vatican,” the Holy See Press Office announced.

His death came after Pope Francis asked his flock for “prayers” for his predecessor at the Vatican Wednesday.

“I want to ask you all for a special prayer for Pope Emeritus Benedict who sustains the Church in his silence. He is very sick,” Francis, 86 said during his weekly general audience.

“We ask the Lord to console and sustain him in this witness of love for the Church to the very end.”

The German-born spiritual leader — born Joseph Ratzinger on 16 April 1927 in Bavaria — succeeded the sainted Pope John Paul II in 2005.

Known for his staunchly conservative views and the nearly 25 years he spent as the powerful head of the Vatican’s doctrinal office, Benedict became the first German pope in 1,000 years — but only served for eight years before deciding to step down in 2013.

“I think that if he had been able to decide his own future, he would have been quite happy to spend his life as a college professor, teaching and writing books,” the New York Archbishop Timothy Cardinal Dolan told The Post in December 2018.

“But he was called to greater service… And he accepted all of this as one who follows not his own will, but God’s will.”

As a quiet, unassuming intellectual who mostly stayed out of the limelight, Benedict didn’t often comment on political issues, but will be remembered for his extensive writings and teachings about the love of God and the love of one’s neighbor.

Benedict produced more than 60 books between 1963, when he was a priest, and 2013, when he resigned.

However, his short tenure was marred by the clergy sex abuse crisis, which reached a peak in the public sphere during this time, and the “Vati-leaks” scandal.

Paolo Gabriele, Benedict’s butler, leaked secret documents to an Italian journalist in 2012 that revealed corruption and feuding within the Vatican.

The stolen documents uncovered power struggles inside the Vatican over its efforts to show greater financial transparency and comply with international norms to fight money laundering.

After Gabriele was arrested, he admitted that he’d given the papers to reporter Gianluigi Nuzzi because he believed the pope wasn’t being informed of the “evil and corruption” in the Vatican.

He insisted that he believed exposing it would get the church back on track.

ParentsAnon bragged how they taught 30 people to water ski behind our boat and anon wouldn't go to the lake.

Anon thought about it again because of the Idaho thing, one of the girls last names was very similar to the lake, spelling off by 1 letter.
