Only 11:30pm and the neighborhood sounds like a warzone since 8pm. Mostly AR, some AK, some 9mm handgun …mostly.

Hasn't been this way in years, I wonder if this means they're in a good mood or bad

…either way they're wasting ammo.

Used to gauge the state of the economy by the amount of gunfire on 4 July and New Years, but the ammo hording years put a stop to it. This is the first time I've heard a lot of shooting in years -not sure what it means. Maybe people are just running out of places to store ammo. Mexican import dude across the street had a straight up range day into his lawn with a dozen guns. He usually just pops off a couple rounds, and he's been the only one firing on the holidays for a long time.

Are the Boomers in the room with us now?

Hint: They're not.

I don't really get the Boomer jag. I grew up on a steady diet of Boomer tailpipe, and the perception gap that the world I was living in was not the same one they were, and that the opportunities they had just a few years prior weren't an option anymore. The worst of it was the lack of respect because "There must be something wrong with you" but I sure as hell aint wasting any time being mad at them as a bunch of fucking geriatrics like they somehow took something from me.

In hindsight, I'm grateful I didn't end up sheltered in doing 20+ years for the military industrial complex to grow old on a fixed income in these times.
