It's not only the equity theft it is also the unconscionable rates that turn long time owners into "renters" in their own homes. I've seen this happen personally, where the property taxes amount to hundreds or thousands per month so that the owner must sell when retired. Also, the taxes are used to compel the funding of things most people would object to such as government schools which indoctrinate children into perversion and marxism. I have also seen this personally with college "graduates" and drop outs rejecting their parents, coming out as gay and/or tranny and with the drag of obscene levels of debt.
