>And it crumbles because they have to admit that they are not the smartest people in the world

Are you saying right wing authoritarianism is just as bad as left wing authoritarianism? Because right wing authoritarianism is just as bad as left wing authoritarianism.

>A lot of voters are anti-abortion voters and rape / incest is not even that big of an issue

Well, this is inaccurate, and being in deep red country where half the dudes that are dads that have daughters would like there to be an ultimate fallback plan "just in case" is about all the avg person in a similar worldview would need to refute that point.

Sorry, even the most staunch conservatives will make concessions on this when it boils down to it. What most everyone does agree with is it shouldn't be funded by taxpayers. At all.

PDJT is leaning into the more sensible direction of being a realist and pragmatist ahead of conservatives shooting their fuckig foot off and plunging the country into the dark ages of a churchstate.

Abortion is a decision between a female and her doctor. It is not the business of the state to be interfering with or paying for. The Republican party is a dismal failure and deserves the slew of Ls coming their way. When all is said and done, and a truer sense of the founding fathers' vision of liberty and respect for rights ultimately being expressed through individualism is realized, these camps of left and right are going to be left isolated in their echo chambers while humanity marches towards the future.

I think I'm reading the trajectory right because this country needs to get back to some normalcy before people tune out the epic shitshow we've all had to endure in exposing the sheer amount of evil in all our institutions.
