Autopsy-based histopathological characterization of myocarditis after anti-SARS-CoV-2-vaccination
Cardiac autopsy findings consistent with (epi-)myocarditis were found in five cases of the remaining 25 bodies found unexpectedly dead at home within 20 days following SARS-CoV-2 vaccination.

Balenciaga pushes it too far with child exploitation
By far the worst and most self-inflicted public relations nightmare to come out of the last year was the Balenciaga child exploitation controversy.
Balenciaga launched a holiday gifting campaign in late November, and in its usual controversial style, it featured child models clutching teddy bear bags dressed up in what looked like bondage gear.
After the photoshoot went viral for the ill placement of children with BDSM imagery, keen-eyed observers of the brand began to uncover child abuse-centered props in Balenciaga’s previous campaigns.
In a Garde Rose Photo Shoot featuring Nicole Kidman and Isabelle Huppert, Twitter and TikTok users found a copy of the U.S. Supreme Court case interrogating whether child sexual abuse imagery legislation curtails freedom of speech rights, that set designers had curiously placed on a desk right under one of Balenciaga’s £2,800 handbags.
In the background of another shoot, viewers could see a coffee table book “Fire from the Sun,” which is a collection of paintings from artist Michaël Borremans depicting images of naked toddlers.
Cases of myocarditis, diagnosed clinically by laboratory tests and imaging have been described in the context of mRNA-based anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. Autopsy-based description of detailed histological features of vaccine-induced myocarditis is lacking. We describe the autopsy findings and common characteristics of myocarditis in untreated persons who received anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. Standardized autopsies were performed on 25 persons who had died unexpectedly and within 20 days after anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. In four patients who received a mRNA vaccination, we identified acute (epi-)myocarditis without detection of another significant disease or health constellation that may have caused an unexpected death. Histology showed patchy interstitial myocardial T-lymphocytic infiltration, predominantly of the CD4 positive subset, associated with mild myocyte damage. Overall, autopsy findings indicated death due to acute arrhythmogenic cardiac failure. Thus, myocarditis can be a potentially lethal complication following mRNA-based anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. Our findings may aid in adequately diagnosing unclear cases after vaccination and in establishing a timely diagnosis in vivo, thus, providing the framework for adequate monitoring and early treatment of severe clinical cases.

An Oregon woman is being held without bail after she was arraigned Thursday for allegedly pushing a 3-year-old child onto train tracks while the child and mother were waiting at a Portland train station, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Department said in a release.
Brianna Lace Workman, 32, is accused of shoving the child face-first onto the tracks of the Gateway Transit Center MAX platform in Northeast Portland without "provocation."
A bystander rescued the child from the tracks before a train came.

A woman is facing charges after the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office said she shoved a child onto the MAX train tracks in Portland, injuring the child and interfering with public transportation.
Brianna Lace Workman, 32, was arraigned Thursday on charges of first-degree attempted assault, third-degree attempted assault, interfering with public transportation, second-degree disorderly conduct and recklessly endangering another person.
