It wasn't a Witch Hunt
It was a stall tactic from the start.
They planned to tie him up with a special prosecutor to keep him busy and look bad until they could get enough seats in mid terms then hit him with an impeachment.
And THAT is just exactly what they are going to do unless someone gets off their ass to stop them.
Otherwise we can all sit around this massive circle jerk till cows come home. But THEY have a plan, and THEY are moving the ball down the line. If they get enough seats in mid terms. He's going to get hit with an impeachment. They won't need a legit reason. He will then simply fight the impeachment until next election where he'll be strung politically to seek second term.
