We live in a universe of possibilities, anon. I was surprised how quickly it diverged in the way that it did, and how many alt-righters were quick to defend the words of some of the more insensitive comments that were posted about the player's circumstance, the possible "causes", and the fact that there was deliberation about the game being postponed/rescheduled. Humanity had a rough day, yesterday and today, beating itself up.
It won't be McCarthy. How long until Jeffries gets it? I'm not counting out Jordan, but holy shit; has anything like this ever happened? Why would all the swampies willingly vote for Jordan after trying so hard for McCarthy? Truth is, they are so desperate to hold on to the House, they'd flip for Jeffries before doing the right thing.
