Anons, this battle between Gaetz etal……….and McCarthy with Trump's backing is a huge clusterfuck. Gaetz & company want certain things from McCarthy and McCarthy won't allow it.
Has either one of these groups released a list of demands as to what one side wants, what the other side has said no to etc……….
Frankly, what I've heard that Gaetz, Boebart and others are wanting McCarthy's guarantee on is pretty straight forward and in reality, woould his feet to the fire as S[eaker. Pelosi did away with a House rule that stood for 200 years on recalling the SOTH. I understand that this is one of the things Gaetz and company want. McCarthy will not say yes. I think we all know why. And, I do not understand why President Trump supports him.
On the other side of this coin, McCarthy has done a pretty good job over the last 2 election cycles in getting republicans elected and a few other things. I have hesitations about McCarthy but……………I do trust our POTUS.
