i SHOULDA gone to bed hours ago,

but i stayed up to write this, just so you know,

i think you will like it, and i hope that you do,

make it a notable so day shift sees it too.

ICYMI, January 7th is Orthodox Christmas…

'TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

(appologies to Clement Clarke Moore)

'twas the night before (orthodox) Christmas, and all thru the (US) HOUSE

the swamp rats were squirming, all the minions of Klaus;

meanwhile nooses were hung down at GITMO with care,

in the knowledge that the traitors soon would be there;

the normies were nestled all snug in their beds,

while s-proteins and graphene danced in their heads;

and wifeanon in her 'kerchief and i in my cap,

had just settled in for a dark winter's nap,

when in the high court there arose such a clatter,

i hurried to c-span to see what was the matter.

away to the TV i flew like a flash,

and flipped thru the channels to get past the trash.

the monitor's light filled the room with a glow,

and the pictures displayed were a marvelous show.

when what to my wondering eyes should appear,

but chief justice roberts and eight of his peers.

with a wily old lawyer, so lively and quick,

i knew in an instant this was going to be slick.

surrounded by eagles, in the justices came,

roberts whistled and shouted and called them by name;

come thomas, alito, sotomayor and kagan,

come gorsuch, come kavenaugh, come barrett and jackson,

to the chambers and courtroom, with the flag on the wall,

now outta the way, outta the way, outta the way all.

as dry leaves caught in the whirlwind must fly,

the deepstate's objections were swept to the side.

then behind the bench the high court was seated,

while MSM, libtards, and sheeple all bleated.

i pulled up a chair as i sat in my jammies,

to hear opening statements by Brunson's attorneys.

but the doors of the courtroom flew in with a thump,

as a platoon of marines escorted in donald trump.

he wore a dark suit, white shirt, and red tie;

he winked at the cameras with a gleam in his eye;

"i've come here to tell you, 'cause i thought you should know,

if you rule for the plaintiff, who'll be running the show."

"when the contested elections are turned on their ear,

i'll be chosen as speaker to a deafening cheer.

so when joe & the ho are placed in detention

i'll be next in line of presidential succession."

"then the house will proceed with impeaching the pair

for the treasonous crimes in which they both share.

and the outcome in congress will be the beginning;

next come the courts martial, and america winning."

"and all 'round the globe news will spread like wildfires,

and corrupt governments will topple like domino tiles;

folks will take to the streets shouting 'off with their heads,'

while the globalist elites hide under their beds."

"but the masses of peoples, freedom so long denied,

will show them no mercy, wherever they hide;

then nuremburg 2.0 trials will take place,

and ultimate judgment, the evil will face,"

"then all humankind will unite in world peace,

when the truth and the tech and the cures are released."

and lastly, he added, as they walked into the night,

"Merry Christmas to anons who fought the good fight."

>someone lied

this is from wikipedia. i guess they haven't gotten around to "fixing" the page yet. 188 cases in 10 yrs. do the 'rithmetic.

There are only 10–20 cases annually in the United States.[1] These cases occur mostly in boys and young men (mean age 15), usually during sports participation.[1] It occurs most frequently in baseball when the hard ball strikes an unprotected chest, although cases exist to show commotio cordis occurred in players using a chest protector.[1] It is usually caused by a projectile, but can also be caused by the blow of an elbow or other body part. Being less developed, the thorax of an adolescent is likely more prone to this injury than a mature adult.[1]

Over a period of assessment from 2006–12, the survival rate was 58 percent, which was an improvement over the years 1993–2006 when only 34 percent of victims survived. This increase is likely due to prompt CPR, access to defibrillation, and higher public awareness of this phenomenon.[1][2]

Commotio cordis is a very rare event, but nonetheless is often considered when an athlete presents with sudden cardiac death. Some of the sports which have a risk for this cause of trauma are baseball, American football, association football (soccer), ice hockey, polo, rugby football, cricket, softball, pelota, lacrosse, boxing, professional wrestling, hurling and martial arts (see Touch of Death). Children are especially vulnerable, possibly due to the mechanical properties of their thoracic skeleton.[1][4] From 1996 to spring 2007, the USA National Commotio Cordis Registry had 188 cases recorded, with about half occurring during organized sports.[5] Almost all (96%) of the victims were male, the mean age of the victims during that period was 14.7 years, and fewer than one in five survived the incident.[5]

Baseball is the most common sport in which commotio cordis occurs, particularly among teenage boys playing the positions of pitcher, catcher or batter.[1] Commotio cordis may occur secondarily in other sports via impacts to the chest by elbows or helmets.[1] It has also been reported in activities of life when sudden impact to the chest wall occurs from hard objects or fists.[1]
