My parents always used to tell me "you need A job, not necessarily THAT job." One has to be willing to walk away.
My spouse stood up to her boss over just the mask mandate in the office after the statewide mandate had ended. Boss threatened to fire her. Gave her a weeks suspension. I told her I supported whatever she wanted to do, we would figure it out. When she returned to work the next week mask mandate ended for the whole building. Her co-workers love her now. It only takes one person to stand up and make a difference.
This was the difficult position they put many people in. It's too bad that the workers did not band together and walk off the job for 2 or 3 days. Nobody would have gotten fired as they can't fire the whole work force. They would have dropped the mandates fast when no business was getting done.
I thank God for her everyday. I really did find a keeper. She actually found the Q posts first and introduced me to 8chan.
