Her gubernatorial bid was hasty, last-minute and she had no chance in hell of winning. Rec'd barely 1% of the vote. People thought she was a stalking horse for Newson v. Villaraigosa. Fishy. Read below.

She'd make a mighty fine witness on two sets of cases.

Under those circumstances, best way to keep from getting whacked is to raise your profile and run for office. Just some conspiratard conjecture on my part.
