Weird you mention Chinese. Sinaloa and Sonora are infested with them. There's a decades old 'rumor', which I wouldn't even doubt, that they have underground chinese cities and infrastructures in these states. Maybe part of the same infiltration plan, I'm just 'spitballing'.
