I keep getting nagged by the J6 questions:

Why did POTUS need to be at the capitol that day? There's no other reason for that rally.

What was he really doing when the pre-recorded "Go home in peace" message was released?

What were Congress members doing, possibly with POTUS, while other Congress members were hiding in their offices with people banging on the doors?

Maybe today we come full circle and find out.

And everyone assumed the "Go home in peace" speech (which could have fulfilled the "ask them to leave" requirement for invoking the act) was directed at rally-goers. What if the intended audience were other, actual interlopers?

I believe that we were under a COG plan as soon as POTUS was initially sworn in to become a president under attack versus just a spied-upon candidate and campaign, so invoking "the act" could have been a necessary legal step as the interlopers made their move to overthrow the government, as Congress scurried off the floor in joint sesssion without adjourning -for 6 freaking hours

…only to reappear in the evening to claim that the staged capitol invasion legitimized their need to push forward in finalizing the election results.

Such an amazing movie -so many twists and turns.

…what if it were

Under-cooked, foreign-raised, cat fish. Swallowed a bite before realizing it was damn near raw.

Not even joking when I say that I wasn't sure I was going to make it. Abdominal pain from hell.

I tend to think that if we hear anything at all from SCOTUS it will be as a courtesy because of the groundswell it created.

"An oath of office is not enforceable as a contract, and if it were enforceable as a contract, parties not included in that contract would not have standing to litigate that contract, so…"

An Amicus brief is a statement from …literally anyone who wants to voice their thoughts on a case as "a friend of the court."

I believe SCOTUS was swamped with these because of internets, and so they just switched off that option so the clerks could direct the flood right into a dumpster where it belongs.

I wonder if this explains that Globemaster flight from Mexico City to Travis AFB in the recent notables (that attributed the flight to hauling gear for a political visit.) I watched that flight too, and it seems to have been met at Travis by a Globemaster coming in from Ft Campbell, Kentucky.
