I've worked for the Government for a couple of decades and have worked very closely with very senior Civil Servants. I've been following this since the beginning of November back on halfchan and one of the things that really interests me is how the conspiracy looks to have operated within the US, in particular the relationship between: elected politicians; government officials; the judiciary; big business and law enforcement.
The other day I has a moment of epiphany. This network of conspiracy is very familiar to me: it's the way the UK has been run for the past 170 years, since the Civil Service was established.
The UK Civil Service was set up in 1850 and Civil Servants like me work for the Queen ie we do not work for the politicians. In fact what we do is essentially act in a way that prevents any set of politicians from upsetting the status quo. Within the UK Civil Service there are two type of officials: normal Civil Servants and Senior Civil Servants (SCS). The SCS runs the country and to enter the SCS you need to be a certain type of person and SCS tend to come from Establishment background; it's the same strata of society that British Army officers come from, and Lawyers and judges, etc. more junior Civil Servants don't really get to see behind the curtain to understand the true reason behind decisions.
I've been in roles where I have been privy to discussions between top civil servants and there tends to focus on how to manipulate the politicians so that they do what we thing they should do, rather than how we can help them to deliver the platform on which they were elected. I've also been involved with the world of public body Board and how a small set of people sit on a large number of Board - we call them the great and the good and they all tend to be firmly establishment, with the majority of the true decision making happening in secret.
The point of this post is to say that it looks to me that what's been happening in the US over the past 50 years is an attempt to deconstruct your constitutional government and put in place the same system that the UK has had for centuries: Government for the elite rather than government for the people.
