The furtherance of society and this great Republic will require some concessions of previous generations' perspectives of normalcy and traditionalism while an unforeseen and unavoidable collision of determined wills clashes with their message as being the authoritative and objective one. Humanity will pave a way forward as the old guard and their subjugation by force meets with a prism of will for independence from control. The war on the mind will result on a blazed trail to newer understandings and cooperation.
In short, everyone won't get what they want, but they'll get what they need. At some point, we won't be fighting against bad ideas, but instead, we'll be working to implement better ideas to allow humanity to live with itself. Hell, it might even get better.
