Disagree. There are people in this world who are a danger to themselves, and a danger to others, via mental illness. There are no long term facilities for such a person. None.

Believe me, I know. My child. Mental hospital telling me

>GET THIS (under 10) PERSON OUT OF YOUR HOUSE before they kill/sexually assault the littles in the home!

>Where can I send them?

>Nowhere to send them.

>What can I do?

>Take them to child protective agency and say "I can no longer protect this child." (actual quote), then turnaround, walk out and leave them there.

Anon couldn't do that.

By the grace of God, said child also intellectually disabled.

>Oh well, that's another story. Of course we have facilities for those who can't read or write because of intellectual disability, but if they are threatening to kill you, and others,, because of mental illness, no, sorry, we have no long-term facilities for that.

There are currently NO long term facilities for mental ill people (except prison) in this country. That's why they are all on the street.

Speaking of prison - mental health treatment should be mandatory.

And let's take "mental illness" to another level.

There is a differentiation between PTSD and mental illness in anon's mind.

Some trauma or event led to a person's "mental illness." They may not have been "mentally ill" before the event.

But what about those who are "mentally ill" from the get-go?

Do you not realize that satan has his people in the world, too? We are all God's Creation thru His divine appointment; we are not all His children.

The person who suffers from PTSD due to traumatic experience? Is that mental illness? Something treatable to be made better? Or the body's (built in by God) mechanism to not go insane?

But what if those who are truly mentally ill from the get-go

Maybe so, I don't know, but I do know the world labeled this anon PTSD and I accepted that label. Conventional "wisdom" tried to drug me. I refused. Still, I accepted their label, until I found this:

>Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

And I knew what the world said was "mental illness" and "ptsd" was a God-given mechanism to protect the human mind and I rejected their label. I refused to be their victim. They have no right to put a label on me, or anyone else, who is/was going through natural consequence of trauma. I'm not a victim and I won't be.

Most ptsd and mental illness is actually mental "time out" and can get better with time and/or treatment.

I don't view that as "mentally ill" because it has a root cause.

But,, for some "mentally ill" they are actually just evil beings.

I've wondered about this with all the Pitt attacks lately.

I don't know if they've become more frequent or just more reported.

Anon is oldfag and never heard of Pitts or so many dog attacks long ago.

I'm sure it happened. Maybe the difference is back then, an aggressive dog was immediately dispatched by whomever came across it.

One of their many weapons? I wouldn't be surprised.
