You didn't quit sobriety. You embraced escapism in the despair of illusionary reality. I don't, or will never, judge or shame you; and hope that moderation governs your occasional indulgences. Not to excuse a betrayal of commitment, but gauging the journey of life in the absolutism of abstinence is the strictest adherence to principals that are an unpardonable conviction for very few, and idealistic one for the majority. We are blessed with many ways to tolerate the pains of realizing our collective struggles. The key to forward progress isn't in shame, but in understanding and strengthening through encouragement and grace.
