2008 or so, we took our house back in time to be a homestead as prep for the big crash we're experiencing now. Wound up having to live it for for reals for three years in 2014 because of circumstances. Agree with you: Fuck that shit. Then decided "prep" meant "Go as far into the future as possible to be high on the foodchain when the crash comes" or "Make moar money because hyerinflation is going to suck."
Had 5 years for new preps before the covid crunch …much better to have lights that come on with a switch.
