Seasoned anon here just seeking some inputs from other anons about theTiktokapp.

A little background: I’m not much on social media. I have a Truth Social account but I’m not very active at all. Opened a Twitter account the day Elon bought the company, but that got permanently suspended after only 4 days. That’s the extent of muh social media involvement and experience.

Wife and adult kids love Tiktok. They text me stuff from Tiktok from time to time and I will usually watch whatever it is but I don’t have the app or an account. I’ve thought about downloading the app and checking it out a little more in depth, but I keep seeing things about how some places are banning the app because it’s supposedly spyware from China. However, is it really any moar dangerous than any other app? What exactly (personal data and whatnot), besides what China or any other country could get off any other social media platform already, is the issue with TikTok that makes it so much riskier (supposedly)?
