HORSESHIT. the "hole" in the ozone layer has NOTHING to do with any human activity, especially not using or banning CFCs. it's the result of destruction of the ozone by bombardment with the solar wind (molecular spallation), which in turn is a result of the collapsing magnetic field of the earth that is part of the normal periodic magnetic pole reversal, which began a couple centuries ago. presently, the largest anomaly in the earth's magnetic field just happens to be in the south atlantic, and the solar winds are funneled to the poles by the van allen belt. by pure coincidence that's exactly where the hole in the ozone appeared. /sarc
furthermore, it is NOT healing itself, it's going to continue to persist and or expand throughout the entire process of magnetic pole reversal, which will take a millennium or so to complete. the process is now fairly well understood. the story about the hole in the ozone "healing itself" is complete bullshit, and the PURPOSE is to make retards believe that by banning CFCs we somehow "fixed" the hole in the ozone, therefore we need to ban fossil fuels to "fix" global warming.
