Allyson Brooke Nemeroff, a daughter of Helaine Nemeroff of Floral Park, Queens, and Dr. Ronald M. Nemeroff of Manhattan, is to be married this evening to Dr. Scott Gottlieb, the son of Marsha Gottlieb and Dr. Stanley Gottlieb of East Brunswick, N.J. Rabbi Chaim Rogoff will officiate at the 3 West Club, at the Women's National Republican Club in Manhattan.
The bride, 29, works in Washington and Manhattan as the national advertising directorfor The New York Sun. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Her father, who was a dentist, owns R.M.N. Consultants, a company in Manhattan that helps sell dental practices. Her mother teaches writing at Public School 48 in Jamaica, Queens. The bride is a stepdaughter of Ellen Nemeroff.
The bridegroom, 32, is the senior adviser for medical technology to Dr. Mark B. McClellan, the director of the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services in Washington, which is part of the Department of Health and Human Services. Until this winter, the bridegroom was the director of policy development at the Food and Drug Administration in Rockville, Md., which was then headed by Dr. McClellan. The bridegroom graduated from Wesleyan University and received a medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. His mother teaches Hebrew at the East Brunswick Jewish Center, and his father is a psychiatrist in private practice, also in East Brunswick.
