It’s an oldie but I’d recommend hbo Rome. It’s no documentary but it is Thoroughly entertaining, full of historical authenticity (with regards to Roman life and customs) and rewatchable.
I see both sides. Gotta stay positive but at the same time I think it’s important to vent when setbacks arise. Maybe anons encourage, or maybe they relate, but at least they get it off their chest.
