Ukrainians To Be Trained On Patriot Systems At Oklahoma Base

The Biden administration first unveiled its plan to transfer Patriot missile systems to Ukraine in mid-December, but there was still the question over where Ukrainian personnel would undergo training on operating the incredibly complex anti-air defense systems.

Initially, a base in Germany was floated as the likely place, but also amid conjecture that training could actually happen in the United States, which would certainly provoke further condemnation out of Moscow. On Tuesday, two US officials told CNN for the first time that Ukrainian troops will be trained inside the Untied States, as part of a program which starts as soon as next week.

Michigan Middle School Field Trip Ended With Students Pole Dancing

Michigan middle school students attended a field trip in Detroit that included a stop for a restaurant that doubles as a late-night lounge with dancing poles.

Sixth-grade students from Rochester Community Schools’ (RCS) Hart Middle School (HMS) were photographed allegedly pole dancing while on a field trip to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, according to Andrew Weaver, a trustee for the RCS board.

Weaver posted to his Facebook page, Finding the Right Answer, that HMS students were “taken to lunch at Niki’s Pizza which is attached to Niki’s Lounge.” The students were then “moved from Niki’s Pizza due to a lack of available space to the Lounge, where they tried out some pole dancing,” Weaver wrote.

His post also included photos that showed an alcohol-stocked bar at Niki’s Lounge and a menu with alcoholic drinks. Another picture showed students appearing to pole dance on the establishment’s floor-to-ceiling metal rods, which were mounted on raised platforms.

Democrat Senate Intel Chief Demands Briefing on Joe Biden’s Stashed Classified Docs

Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), the chair of the Senate’s Select Committee on Intelligence, demanded a briefing from President Joe Biden’s Justice Department on Tuesday about the stash of classified documents at UPenn reportedly related to Ukraine and Iran and dated between 2013 and 2016.

Warner stated he wanted a briefing on Biden’s mishandling of classified documents related to congressional oversight powers. The requested briefing flies in the face of the media’s decision to downplay the national security breach.

“Our system of classification exists in order to protect our most important national security secrets and we expect to be briefed on what happened both at Mar-a-Lago and at the Biden office as part of our constitutional oversight obligations,” he said in a statement to reporters.

“From what we know so far, the latter is about finding documents with markings, and turning them over, which is certainly different from a months-long effort to retain material actively being sought by the government,” he said. “But again, that’s why we need to be briefed.

On Tuesday, CNN reported Biden’s mishandled classified documents at the University of Pennsylvania’s “think tank” included intelligence materials related to Iran, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom. The trove related to Ukraine specifically raises national security concerns. The Biden family has had many business dealings in Ukraine.

In 2017, Hunter Biden was paid $83,000 per month to be on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy company. That same year, Hunter’s salary was cut in half when Joe Biden left the White House as vice president, having visited Ukraine six times in seven years.

Concerns about the Biden family business are not the only fears critics have about the stashed documents. About $54 million worth of anonymous Chinese donations have reportedly been given to a University of Pennsylvania “think tank.” Critics fear the Chinese Communist Party could have donated money to gain access to Biden’s classified trove.

The establishment media has defended Biden’s stash as different from former President Donald Trump’s incident of allegedly keeping classified documents at Mar-a-Lago — taking pains to call Biden’s case “smaller scale.”

While Trump’s incident culminated in the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Largo and a special counsel investigation, no similar measures have been taken by Biden’s Justice Department in the case of Biden’s mishandling of classified documents.

Republicans have pointed out that — unlike Trump — then-Vice President Biden had no authority to declassify classified documents before leaving office.

“This is a very serious situation. Vice presidents cannot declassify documents. And the fact that Joe Biden is in possession of classified documents when he was vice president, signals we need to have a serious investigation into this,” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) told C-Span.

“There is a true two tier justice system stemming from m g department of justice in the way President Trump has been treated — who is allowed to classify and declassify documents. Presidents can do that,” she said.

Madonna Accused of Trafficking & Exploiting African Children by Charity

That was the provocative, above-the-fold headline in Cape Town’s daily newspaper, the Cape Times, earlier this week. Human rights activists in Malawi leveled charges against Madonna of child trafficking, kidnapping and generally behaving like a bully as the pop icon tried to adopt a second child from one of Africa’s poorest nations.

It’s not just child rights activists or people in Malawi who are upset by Madonna’s efforts to adopt a four-year-old girl, Mercy James, whose mother is dead and whose father is unaccounted for. South Africans are weighing in on the controversy and some are expressing concern that Madonna is using her celebrity and wealth to bypass laws that prohibit foreigners from adopting Malawian children. Many others are saying that Madonna could help thousands of African children with education, shelter and food for what it will cost to adopt and raise a single child.

Of course Madonna is using her wealth and fame to adopt Malawian children. It is that very status which allowed her to adopt a young Malawian boy, David Banda, a few years ago; and it is what may allow her second adoption request to also be met with success. I am not in a position to judge whether or not Madonna will be a good mother to these children, or whether the children would be better served by being raised by extended family members in their country of birth. I do believe, however, that child rights activists – while publicly criticizing Madonna’s actions – are privately thrilled with the furor that has again been created around her adoption attempts.

Nongovernmental organizations concerned with child trafficking could send a press release to the media every day highlighting horrific conditions of vulnerable children and the story would be buried on the inside pages of daily newspapers – if it even made it into print. A superstar like Madonna, receiving preferential treatment in adopting children in a poor country like Malawi, is guaranteed to make headlines around the world. And nonprofit human rights organizations could never afford to pay for publicity like this.

Even Madonna’s harshest critics – and they don’t come much harsher than those accusing her of child trafficking and kidnapping – have to admit that it is Madonna who has put this issue on people’s radar screens. If Madonna was not in Malawi trying to adopt an orphan, the media this week would not have been paying attention to the plight of orphans and vulnerable children around the world. At the end of the day, it is the very organizations that are now accusing Madonna of child trafficking whose work might benefit the most from the international attention her adoption of Malawian children has generated.

Wagner group releases video from contested Soledar

Recording shows the center of key Donbass town under Russian control

Russian troops are in control of downtown Soledar, the private military company Wagner has claimed, posting a video filmed outside the town’s administration building on Tuesday afternoon. The salt-mining town is a crucial link in Ukraine’s Donbass fortifications and commands the northern approach to the strategic hub of Bakhmut.

The video making rounds on social media shows two members of the PMC, which has been storming the town block-by-block over the past several weeks, outside the battle-scarred building.

“We are at the center of town right now, outside the administration building,” the soldiers say. “PMC Wagner is carrying out the mission, clearing the town.”

According to some frontline reports, Russian forces north and south of Soledar have linked up outside a salt mine west of the town, cutting off any Ukrainian soldiers that did not manage to retreat.

Named after its salt mines, Soledar had around 10,000 residents before the conflict. The Ukrainian army turned it into a strongpoint after being pushed out of Popasnaya in mid-2022.

Russian control of the town creates a problem for Ukrainian forces both to the north and to the south, in the embattled bastion of Artyomovsk, which Kiev has renamed Bakhmut.

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky acknowledged on Sunday that the situation in Soledar was “very difficult” and called it “one of the bloodiest spots along the front line,” but vowed that Ukrainian troops would continue to hold “no matter what.”

While capturing Artyomovsk would open the road to Slavyansk, where the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) was proclaimed in 2014, Kiev’s determination to hold the town has presented the Russian forces with the opportunity to catch Ukrainian forces in a “meat grinder,” according to Russian war correspondents.

As Wagner founder Yevgeny Prigozhin told local media last week, the objective is not the city itself, but “the destruction of the Ukrainian army and the reduction of its combat potential.”

Russia sent troops into Ukraine on February 24, citing Kiev’s failure to implement the Minsk agreements, designed to give the regions of Donetsk and Lugansk special status within the Ukrainian state. The protocols, brokered by Germany and France, were first signed in 2014. Former Ukrainian president Pyotr Poroshenko has since admitted that Kiev’s main goal was to use the ceasefire to buy time and “create powerful armed forces.”

Moscow demands that Ukraine officially declare itself a neutral country that will never join any Western military bloc. Kiev insists the Russian offensive was completely unprovoked.

Russia opens first LGBT propaganda case

The investigation was launched against a publisher accused of disseminating content promoting non-traditional sexual relations

Russia’s Interior Ministry has launched its first investigation under new LGBT propaganda laws, the chairman of the State Duma Information Policy Committee announced on Tuesday.

Alexander Khinshtein said case was opened against Moscow-based publisher Popcorn Books, which has been accused of illegally selling literature promoting non-traditional sexual relations.

“This publishing house has played a leading role in promoting LGBT literature in Russia,” wrote Khinshtein, who was one of the architects of the recently expanded legislation restricting LGBT propaganda in the country.

The law was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin last month, and introduced hefty fines for those found guilty of promoting “non-traditional sexual relations,” pedophilia and transgenderism among both minors and adults through books, cinema, the media, and websites.

"After our laws banning LGBT propaganda came into force in December, Popcorn Books not only continued to sell such books, but defiantly began to decorate their covers with quotes from Article 29 of the Constitution, which guarantees freedom of speech and prohibition of censorship," Khinshtein added.

One of the most controversial items released by Popcorn Books was a novel titled “Summer in a Pioneer Tie,” which focuses on the homosexual relationship between a teenager and a summer camp counselor during the Soviet era. The book reportedly sold over 200,000 copies but was heavily criticized by many conservative public figures, who called for the sale and distribution of the novel to be banned.

In his Telegram post announcing the investigation, Khishtein added that he hopes the case will make it to court and that the publisher that decided to “throw the government an open challenge” gets what it deserves.

Matt Gaetz Reveals Republicans Will Release the 14,000 Hours of J6 Tapes That Have Been Hidden

https://twitter.com/DC_Draino/status/1612909918088044544

Looks like we will finally get the full story on what really happened on January 6th. Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) told Charlie Kirk today on Kirk’s radio show that the new Republican Congress will unveil the hidden J6 tapes.

Gaetz told Charlie Kirk that releasing the tapes “would give more full context to that day rather than the cherry-picked moments of the January 6th committee.” He further explained this is one example of the deal made with Kevin McCarthy to provide the American people the truth rather than the lies propagated by the Biden Regime.

Here is the relevant part of their conversation:

Kirk: One of my favorite members of Congress is Thomas Massie and the fact that he is going to be on this new committee (the Church Committee) really gives me hope.

Matt, do you anticipate allowing the dogs to be released if you will against this fourth branch of government (the Deep State).

Gaetz: Kevin McCarthy told us he is going to get the evidence out in front of the American people and that means releasing the 14,000 hours of tapes that have been hidden that I think would give more full context to that day (January 6th) rather than the cherry-picked moments the January 6th committee tried to use to inflame and further divide out country.

So yes, I do believe that part of this deal is a concession that we are going to get the truth out in front of the American people.

Should Congress actually follow through and release the tapes, this will serve as the first step toward getting justice for the January 6th prisoners. The Gateway Pundit has provided numerous accounts of the horrifying conditions the Regime has placed them in.

TGP owner Jim Hoft has been particularly outspoken over the treatment of the Regime’s political prisoners and has attended protests speaking on their behalf. TGP writer Cara Castronuova has also broken numerous critical stories on the prisoners’ suffering.

The deal made between McCarthy and the conservative rebels continues to look better as the days go by. We have patriots like Matt Gaetz to thank for this.

Investigating the Investigators

Areas of focus for the House committee on the “Weaponization of the Federal Government"

With House Republicans having decided on the Speaker, one of their next items of business is one that is well overdue: the formation of a new subcommittee on the “Weaponization of the Federal Government,” which would conduct a thorough investigation of abuses by federal law enforcement and national security agencies.

According to a recent interview with Rep. Chip Roy, Speaker Kevin McCarthy has “committed to giving the subcommittee at least as much funding and staffing as the House special committee in the last Congress that investigated the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol.”

It’s about time.

Of course, the very name of the subcommittee – the “Weaponization of the Federal Government” – suggests a wide-ranging inquiry that could look into the actions of a number of federal agencies – the FBI/DOJ, Department of Homeland Security, the CIA and NSA, etc. It would include efforts by the Biden Administration and FDA/CDC to eliminate unapproved speech about COVID-19 and how the FBI made sure social media companies, including Twitter, took down alleged misinformation about the 2020 election and had a part in the suppression of the Hunter Biden story.

And that’s just the more recent history of governmental abuses. What else is out there, still waiting to be uncovered? There is sure to be more. We just haven’t heard of it yet.

Then there are the federal abuses of their investigative powers, starting with the Russiagate fiasco. Yet even with Russiagate there’s much we don’t know. It’s either hidden under layers of classifications or kept secret as part of federal investigative steps. Or the evidence remains with the DNC and Crowdstrike, assuming it hasn’t been destroyed.

But if we could suggest areas of Russiagate-related focus for Congressional investigators – a long list that we’ve had to narrow down to things we’re personally most curious about – here’s where we would start.1

The DNC “Hack”

Topping the list is the holy grail of them all, the purported Russian hack of the DNC servers. Initially leading the investigation and response to the hack was no other than Michael Sussmann, the DNC/Hillary Campaign lawyer who would later draw charges from Special Counsel John Durham for lying to the FBI about other Russian information: the Alfa Bank/Trump connections.

As has been documented here and elsewhere, the investigation into the DNC hack was bungled from the start. The FBI never took possession of the DNC servers, instead relying on conclusions formed by DNC contractor Crowdstrike (which, by the way, was hired by Michael Sussmann on behalf of his clients). The FBI never obtained the complete reports from Crowdstrike. And even Crowdstrike had no direct evidence of exfiltration. As explained by Aaron Mate, the manner in which the Russian attribution is described by US intelligence officials signals that they “lacked concrete evidence for their Russian hacking claim.”

Part of the DNC hack inquiry would be further documentation of who at the FBI raised red flags about the investigation’s scope and seemingly pre-determined outcome. It would also get into who made the decisions. That gets us to the next topic.

Meet The Epstein, Chinese-Tied Republicans Who Voted ‘YES’ on Nancy Pelosi’s House Rules

Congressman Barry Moore (AL), along with Congressmen Troy Nehls (TX) and Tony Gonzales (TX), were part of a delegation which made a trip to Kiev, Ukraine, in August 2021. The trip was sponsored by HDI, its chief purpose apparently was to meet with President Zelenskyy.

Among the Republicans who are loyalists to House Minority Leader, apparent establishment demigod and fourteen times failed Speaker nominee, Kevin McCarthy (R-CA-23), are a group of representatives who serve on the Congressional Advisory Board of the Epstein-CCP tied “Humpty Dumpty Institute” (HDI), a non-profit organization Directed and Financed by Mark Epstein and directly connected to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its People’s Liberation Army (PLA). These McCarthy-Epstein-CCP wingmen have been dubbed the Republican establishment’s “Humpty Dumpty Congressmen.”

Despite claims from Rep. Barry Moore that Epstein is no longer involved with HDI, he is listed on the NGO’s most recent 990 tax form as its Director and $100,000 financier. HDI sent National File its 2021 990 tax form directly.

Establishment Republican members of Epstein-CCP’s Humpty Dumpty Institute Congressional Advisory Board include the following:

Rep. Don Bacon (R-NB-02)

Rep. Gus Bilirakis (R-FL-12)

Rep. Andrew Harris (R-MD-01)

Rep. Barry Moore (R-AL-02)

Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX-11)

Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA-01)

Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-CO-05) – Associate Member

Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX-22) – Associate Member

Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX-23) – Associate Member

Past establishment Republican members, Associate Republican members of Epstein-CCP’s Humpty Dumpty Institute Congressional Advisory Board:

Former North Carolina Representative and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

Former South Carolina Representative and Governor, 2020 failed Presidential candidate, Mark Sanford.

Former Acting Director of National Intelligence (DNI) and US Ambassador to Germany, Richard ‘Ric’ Grenell.

Former US Ambassador to the United Nations and National Security Advisor, John Bolton.

Meadows, former Chief of Staff in the Trump Administration, was appointed to the HDI Congressional Advisory Board in 2013 and served in that capacity until as recently as April 2019.

Until the morning of the 12th attempt by the U.S. House to achieve a consensus on the next Speaker, Congressman Bacon appeared on the Humpty Dumpty Institute’s website as a member of the group’s “Congressional Advisory Board.” HDI recently republished its Congressional Advisory Board page.

Rep. Bacon also made a threat on Thursday to collaborate with Democrats and support a liberal candidate for Speaker of the House if McCarthy could not secure enough votes. This may not be all that surprising because, given the unbalanced ratio of Democrats to RINOs on the HDI advisory board, Rep. Bacon probably has a lot of close chums on the other side of the aisle.

After extended correspondence about HDI and its connections to the CCP, the office of Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA-14) made a written request to National File not to email Greene on her Congressional email account, where all communications are considered part of public record.

In addition to reluctance from HDI to address questions from reporters, they have also opted to threaten National File’s First Amendment rights and the status of a free American press through multiple Cease & Desist letters lodged by their elite, white shoe New York City based attorneys, Falcon Rappaport & Berkman LLP.

It’s surprising that a supposedly budget constrained non-profit (HDI has not released its non-profit tax returns publicly since FY19) can afford legal representation at such a high level.

Furthermore, Falcon Rappaport & Berkman seem to be more focused on Real Estate, Private Equity and Trust law. Unlike noted attorney and National File donor, L. Lin Wood, who recently won and settled a $275,000,000 suit against CNN, among others, defamation law does not appear to be Falcon et al’s sweet spot.

The former monarch was Prince William's godfather and lived in London for years before returning to Greece

Constantine II — the only son of King Paul and Queen Frederica of Greece — ascended the throne in 1964, after his father died, but his reign was marred by political instability that culminated in a military coup on April 21, 1967.

In his last public appearance in the centre of Athens last year, the former king was seen in a wheelchair and with supplementary oxygen, accompanied by his sister, the former Queen of Spain, Sofia, and other family members.

OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence (AGI)—by which we mean highly autonomous systems that outperform humans at most economically valuable work—benefits all of humanity. We will attempt to directly build safe and beneficial AGI, but will also consider our mission fulfilled if our work aids others to achieve this outcome. To that end, we commit to the following principles:

Broadly Distributed Benefits

We commit to use any influence we obtain over AGI’s deployment to ensure it is used for the benefit of all, and to avoid enabling uses of AI or AGI that harm humanity or unduly concentrate power.

Our primary fiduciary duty is to humanity. We anticipate needing to marshal substantial resources to fulfill our mission, but will always diligently act to minimize conflicts of interest among our employees and stakeholders that could compromise broad benefit.

Long-Term Safety

We are committed to doing the research required to make AGI safe, and to driving the broad adoption of such research across the AI community.

We are concerned about late-stage AGI development becoming a competitive race without time for adequate safety precautions. Therefore, if a value-aligned, safety-conscious project comes close to building AGI before we do, we commit to stop competing with and start assisting this project. We will work out specifics in case-by-case agreements, but a typical triggering condition might be “a better-than-even chance of success in the next two years.”

Technical Leadership

To be effective at addressing AGI’s impact on society, OpenAI must be on the cutting edge of AI capabilities—policy and safety advocacy alone would be insufficient.

We believe that AI will have broad societal impact before AGI, and we’ll strive to lead in those areas that are directly aligned with our mission and expertise.

Cooperative Orientation

We will actively cooperate with other research and policy institutions; we seek to create a global community working together to address AGI’s global challenges.

We are committed to providing public goods that help society navigate the path to AGI. Today this includes publishing most of our AI research, but we expect that safety and security concerns will reduce our traditional publishing in the future, while increasing the importance of sharing safety, policy, and standards research.

Navy seizes 2,000+ AK-47s shipped from Iran

The U.S. Navy seized more than 2,000 AK-47 assault rifles from a fishing vessel intercepted in the Gulf of Oman, which appeared to be en route from Iran to fuel the civil war in Yemen.

A Navy boarding team from the coastal patrol ship USS Chinook discovered 2,116 rifles on the boat and seized them with help from personnel on the USS Monsoon and USS The Sullivans, according to a Navy press release.

Six Yemeni nationals were sailing the vessel along a route commonly used to traffic illicit cargo from Iran to Yemen. Iran supports the Houthi rebel movement in Yemen’s civil war, which has lasted eight years and is considered among the world’s worst humanitarian crises.

“This shipment is part of a continued pattern of destabilizing activity from Iran,” said Vice Adm. Brad Cooper, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, U.S. 5th Fleet and Combined Maritime Forces. “These threats have our attention. We remain vigilant in detecting any maritime activity that impedes freedom of navigation or compromises regional security.”

The Fifth Fleet is the Navy’s presence in the Middle East, and it’s intensifying efforts to break up Iranian smuggling, according to Al-Monitor.

Fifth Fleet forces also intercepted lethal aid from Iran to Yemen on two other fishing boats in the Gulf of Oman over the last two months, according to the release.

On Dec. 1, more than 50 tons of ammunition, fuses and propellants for rockets were seized by forces from the expeditionary sea base USS Lewis B. Puller. And on Nov. 8, two Navy ships and a Coast Guard ship intercepted more than 70 tons of ammonium perchlorate, which is used to make rocket and missile fuel.

These efforts have met resistance. In December, an Iranian military patrol boat came “dangerously close” to two Navy ships and shined bright lights at them in the Strait of Hormuz. Also in the Strait of Hormuz, armed Iranian speedboats harassed a pair of U.S. warships for an hour over the summer, at one point charging a U.S. ship head-on.
