Dr. Fauci: “I never said COVID vaccines prevent infection.”

Also Dr. Fauci: “When people are vaccinated, they can feel safe that they are not going to get infected.”

It's not just that Fauci is a lying psychopath.

It's that when he was going around saying all these lies from 2020-2022, he felt comfortable doing that because he believed the Shadow Government having complete control of Fake News/Social Media meant anybody who'd try to call him out for his lies would be instantly relegated to "conspiracy theorist" status and censored and dismissed.
