I'm not Catholic and not too knowledgeable about the particular case but I've noticed jews have been very invested in these accusations against Catholics (but never when they're against other jews)
heard a show on Catholic radio a couple years ago, must've been around the time of the acquittal, after which I was fully convinced that he'd been set up, and victims had taken back their accusations and stood up for him, a lot like Michael Jackson,
