Alabama Woman Joined ISIS, Now She Wants To Come Home

Hoda Muthana moved away from home in Alabama at age 20, the difference between her story and a normal coming-of-age tale is that she moved to Syria and joined the Islamic State, and had a child with another terrorist according to reports. Now at 28, the mother wants to return to the United States with her child after joining an enemy that openly called for our nation’s destruction.

Muthana has reportedly said that she hopes to return to the U.S., serve prison time if necessary and “advocate against the extremists,” according to The Associated Press. She claimed to the AP that she was “brainwashed by online traffickers” into joining the terrorists.

Allegedly the terrorist, now pushing 30 with a pre-schooler in tow and her three terrorist husbands dead, regrets it all, except for her son.

“If I need to sit in prison, and do my time, I will do it… I won’t fight against it,” Muthana claimed according to The News Movement. “I’m hoping my government looks at me as someone young at the time and naive.”
