UNderstand that the war started in 1775, over gun control and taxes. This was a continuation of the Regulator war, with some of the same people fighting for the rebels. But this time, they didn't both with a conventional stand-up fight - they used guerilla tactics. So they were winning handily. This could not stand.
So a group of special interests got together, fronted by an indebted land speculator named Washington, and they pulled off a magnificent con job. They fooled all the rebels into thinking that they were on the same side as the rebels, and had the interests of the rebels at heart.
So they "won" the war, and the special interest groups set about doing all the same shit that had prompted the rebellion in the first place. When the rebels got together again to voice their concerns, it was called the "Whiskey Rebellion" by the press and Washington put it down with immigrant mercenary troops.
It's been a trick from the beginning.

If it's a person, then the best anon theory is that GW Bush is dead, or in custody, or some damned thing. Best theory overall is that it's a test for when they all try to flee. Reality is, it's probably just a fuckup from sloppy coding at the FAA and politically-motivated quality control.

This has been my theory for a while now. The Dems are effectively done, once the rigging is addressed, and the rest of the voter base will be split between MAGA and RINO.
It's just that whole "fortification" thing that has to be dealt with first.
