As I understand it, the "flight" system was never borked. It was NOTAM (NOTification to AirMen, original unwoke name) that had a "corrupt file". This is used only for notifying pilots about severe weather, airspace closures, etc. This should not have resulted in ordering a nationwide ground stop as workarounds are available (radio, ACARS).
Be funny if all those vaxxed got saline except the ones with reptilian DNA.
