Einstein was wrong. His original "evidence" to support his theories was a misinterpretation of a different phenomenon.
The solar eclipse on may 29th, 1919 witnessed the "curving of space-time near the sun" because the apparent position on stars behind the sun changed during a solar eclipse.
the stars position changing meant einstein was correct.
but what actually caused the position of the stars to change was the starlight refracting through the sun's corona/"atmosphere". which is made of plasma (or charged particles)
Plamsa is the same thing as our ionosphere. Which refracts light.
