How many times are the phrases "do not be afraid" or "do not fear" or "do not worry" etc in scripture?
Did Jesus warn about yeast of the pharisees, which is hypocrisy?
"For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline". - 2 Timothy 1:7
"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." - 1 John 4:18
Satan wants you to fear. Jesus wants you to love and have faith. BIG difference.
Perfect Love casts out fear.
Jesus did not lose any of those given Him, except the one destined to destruction.
Jesus came to the LOST children of Israel.
Yes, it is what I'm talking about. Fear is CAST OUT.
"and being in anguish, he (Jesus) prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground" - Luke 22:40
When Jesus called Peter Satan to his face, he was saying the things Jesus said must happen shall never happen. He was afraid.
When Peter denied Him, he was afraid.
Again, perfect love casts out fear. Jesus loves us as Himself. We are One in Him.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it, love your neighbor as yourself. ALL the law and the prophets HANG on these two commandments.
I know each and every one of us has the very breath of God, the very breath of Life in us.
He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Jesus overcomes with the breath of His mouth. Jesus breathed on them and said "receive the Holy Spirit". The witnesses are overcome and killed, lying dead until the BREATH OF LIFE enters them.
