Just watched the SpaceX falcon heavy launch. I noticed a commercial flight flying during the launch whos altitude was around 35k feet in sane part of sky as the rocket. From my perspective it appeared like the commercial flight was a higher altitude than the rocket and my reasoning for that is the airplane was reflecting the sun yet the rocket seemed to only reflect the sun during the first 30 seconds or so into launch.

This took place after separation f the boosters which I found claims of taking place between 50 miles (264,000 feet) and 100km (328,000 feet).

At that altitude the sun should also illuminate the exhaust trail as well as the rocket albeit much less light would reflect down due to distance but my gut is telling me we may have just been duped.
