Are they certain? Or might this be misdirection?
Anon has studied the "crater Earth" concept/perspective; see YouTube channel "godgevlamste" for ~800 minutes of it.
In short, it purports: the moon is a map. A reflection, of a much larger Earth, around 1000x larger than what our maps show.
We're in the crater Sulpicius Gallus M.
Other craters contain other "planets" like Mars, etc.
Walt Disney was heavily involved.
So: anon sees green and brown coloring in NASA's "moon map", and considers that "crater Earth" could be a valid perspective, and finds it interesting that they are revealing this at this particular time.
Anon knows "the math works" both ways, for globe and flat; so, one can't "point at the math" to prove either way.
Crater Earth seems similar; an extension, which incorporates both flat Earth as well as concave Earth.
Anyway, the moon being colored similarly to the Earth drew this anon's attention, along with a "why would they do that?" response.
