However, there were a few filings last night that we need to go through. Highlights? There are plenty, but the most amazing one, to me, was how Biden’s own censorship policies ended up sweeping the Presidents Instagram into the censorship net.

We previously discussed the deposition (or lack thereof) of Jen Psaki. The government brought the case to the 5th circuit, which again sent it back to the district court to re-evaluate taking the deposition of lower-level officials. The 5th erred in their interpretation of the record.
The defendants (the government) filed this today. The court ordered the parties to file regarding the stay that the 5th circuit placed on the Psaki deposition, a deposition they are trying desperately to avoid. We will see a lot of why that is later on."

A world-renowned geneticist and Stanford University professorhas paid $29 million in fines after duping his friend into investing $20 million in his 'miracle cure' for Huntington's disease.
Professor Stanley Cohen, 87, was found to have committed 'a species of actual fraud and…deceit' in misleading investors into a biotechnology company he founded in 2016, in a case which bears strong parallels to that of Stanford dropout Elizabeth Holmes.
Holmes was in November sentenced to 11 years in federal prison after a jury convicted her of defrauding investors through her former blood-testing company, Theranos.
Cohen's company, Nuredis, was set up in 2016 and offered not blood testing but a cure for the fatal degenerative disease Huntington's.
Huntington's is a rare, inherited disease that causes the progressive degeneration of nerve cells in the brain, leading to mood changes, anxiety and depression. It affects around 41,000 Americans, according to the Huntington's Disease Society of America. There is no cure.
Cohen, the first geneticist to transplant genes from one living organism to another, encouraged longtime family friend and biotech investor Christopher Alafi to invest $20 million in Nuredis, promising that the company was pioneering revolutionary work.

It was placed on the 'DO NOT COMPOUND' list, after causing the loss of limbs, and death.==
In October 2018, Alafi sued Cohen for fraud, seeking the return of his investment plus interest. A California Superior Court handed down an opinion ordering Cohen to repay the cash in June last year, with details of the case first reported by the Stanford Daily late last month.
Cohen has since repaid the full amount owed.
Earlier this month, the paper also reported how the College had lied that it wasn't aware about the case against Cohen, after uncovering subpoenas issued to bosses there.
Michael Gardener, Alafi's lawyer, said that the case was extremely painful for Alafi, because it marked a total collapse of their decades-long friendship.
'They live near each other…their families socialized with each other, they went to Yom Kippur services together, they visited each other in the hospital,' Gardener said.
'I mean everyone relied on [Cohen] because he was such a close family friend and because this was a world renowned scientist, so when he tells you something, you tend to believe that.'
Cohen, who until recently lived in a spectacular $5 million bungalow in Portola Valley, in the San Francisco Bay area, swore under oath that he had told Alafi of the FDA warnings.

Activists are speaking out against a sweeping policy change affecting children at Catholic Schools in southwest Iowa that prohibits them from using their preferred pronouns and bathrooms that defy their biological sex.
The seven new stipulations from The Diocese of Des Moines went into effect on Monday, and all revolve on how the religious organization deals with gender identity at is 17 schools and 80 parishes across the state.
A sect of the Catholic Church, the Diocese laid out an official document outlining the new rules - which includes a mandate that students participating in sports play only on teams matching their sex at birth.
Other rules to be enforced include that if the school has a dress code, students must follow it based on their biological sex, along with strict ban on gender blockers on school grounds.
