I got a great PR idea for Santos when the story first broke. He should go full steam ahead, on TV, on the House Floor saying YES, he lied. But he's not a liar, nobody who is a liar should be serving in Congress, the House or the Senate. BUT YET THEY DO. They have a law that permits them to lie 'when they are conducting congressional business' and no other congress critter can call out their lies. Then submit a resolution repealing that law and making it a felony for a congress critter to lie while conducting government business. Talk about stirring the pot.
