any federal conservative candidate should be running on "i'm pro life, I believe in exceptions (and leave it vague) but I definitely don't believe in abortion in the delivery room..I defer the specific guidelines to the states in support of recent SCOTUS ruling…
And state candidates just gotta play it by ear in their locality. but in my opinion states should start by cementing an exception window to appear reasonable, and then push for new laws preventing the more-liberal "federal abortion tents" from popping up within their state.
