Just wanted to say, Badlands Media, which I mostly enjoy, has gone full fucking retard by giving a platform to flat earthers. Patrick Gunnels, with whom I don't always agree but always respect, has totally lost any goodwill points with me. The only think flat earth proves is that our education system fucking sucks. It's like Hurdy Dur cavedwellers listening to that debate. Sorry, Pat, but might be time to cut you loose…unless your stance is kayfabe and you're looking for an easy way out.

Badlands Media isn't a platform. It is a business…which proports to be interested in discussing the truth. That the earth is a spherical planet is well established. There are bigger fish to fry in the great awakening.
As for actually freedom of thought, sure, chew your heart out. I don't have time for that debate, but a legit and honest debate would be fine…and short, enough to bury it and move on. But that non-debate they hosted was a shitshow of some truly psychotic guy, apart from his beliefs, and Patrick being big douches. Maybe they were trying to out David Oakley as a fucking lunatic. 100% success. Never heard of the guy.
