Vasyl Nevolia, the head of the INTERPOL National Central Bureau for Ukraine, says former Education and Science, Youth and Sports Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk is not wanted.
He announced this at a press conference, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"We have never had inquiries or tasks to find him," he said.
Commenting on information that Dmytro Tabachnyk is fleeing in Israel, Vasyl Nevolia said Ukraine has very active cooperation through Interpol.
In particular, Ukraine actively cooperates with the Interpol to find in Israel former Energy and Coal Industry Minister Eduard Stavytskyi.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yurii Lutsenko instructed his subordinates to step up investigation into a case against Dmytro Tabachnyk.
