So I did some work on the idea that the old calendars actually began the New Year at the New Moon in March. Start of the year at the beginning of Spring (new life) not the middle of winter.

Which makes more sense when one considers the zodiac. Aries starts the year not Capricorn.

That being said, the new year would start on March 21st this year.

Each new moon would begin a new month.

I then backtracked and discovered that Jan 19th is Oct 28th on the 'old' calendar. December's new moon was Dec 23 which would then be Oct 1.

This also makes sense that October would be the eighth month not the tenth. December would be the 10th month and so on.

Many of Q's dates hit important dates coming up.

Has anyone else worked off the old calendar before they changed it all?
