❗️Politico, citing its sources, reports (https://www.politico.com/news/2023/01/18/major-military-package-ukraine-russia-00078331) that the United States on Friday will announce a new package of military assistance for Ukraine, which will include additional guns, ammunition, as well as Stryker armored personnel carriers and GLSDB ammunition.
GlSDB (Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bomb) high-precision ammunition is a GBU-39B SDB bomb combined with the engine compartment of the M26 missile, designed to be launched from THE HIMARS and M270 MLRS. The range of destruction of the GLSDB target reaches 150 kilometers. Earlier in the fall, plans to supply these ammunition to Ukraine in the spring of 2023 were reported (https://t.me/milinfolive/93808) by Reuters.
As we have already said, the supply of these missiles poses a serious threat to the Russian Armed Forces. If now most of the critical facilities, such as warehouses, high-level headquarters, barracks, equipment parking lots, field airfields, etc., were withdrawn beyond the 90-kilometer radius of destruction of GMLRS missiles, then in the event of the appearance of GLSDB missiles with a range of up to 150 kilometers in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Armed Forces will have to move some of the objects even further, complicating the already undermined logistics system and the transfer of troops.
